Community Giving at Truly Madly Depot
Every week, we get donation requests from schools, clubs, nonprofits, and all kinds of community organizers. We genuinely love that people think of Truly Madly Depot as a place that gives back. We want to keep saying yes when we can, but the reality is that we are a small, locally owned shop and not a giant corporation with a secret money vault buried under the floor. We have limits, but we care and do want to give back with thoughtful choices instead of random ones.
Our priorities tend to fall around creativity, community care, equity, immigrant rights, LGBTQ+ support, and access to the arts. They are not strict requirements, and you are still welcome to apply even if your cause sits outside those areas. Sharing this just helps you understand how we try to spread our support in a way that makes sense for our values and our little shop budget.
