We've been wanting to do a zine for a LONG time but we could never decide on what it would be about. Colin started doing these crazy fun monsters and writing little blurbs about them. They were hilarious and I was like..."wow....I wanna do some!" A light bulb went off and it felt like the perfect first collaborative zine project for us. Humans are a complicated bunch, right? We have multiple aspects of our nature, personality and how people perceive us. In a way it's like we have all these different characters living inside us. And who says those characters are even human?? Beautiful Monsters is a product of our self expression for all those monsters living inside that need to come out!
