The Leather series combines timeless leather covers with unique touches that only the Hobonichi Techo has to offer. This Weeks is made with cow hide for a soft texture. Both the shiny ribbon used for the bookmarks and the decorative headband on the top and bottom of the spine make for a more intricate design than the standard Weeks.
Forest Green is made with leather dyed in the deep, verdant hue of the woodlands. It’s a calm, rich color that puts the mind at ease. The year 2027 on the cover is foil-pressed in gold, catching the light with a bright sparkle.
The headband at the top and bottom of the spine is there for both reinforcement and decorative purposes. For Forest Green, this part comes in beige and white.
The satin ribbon bookmarks come in light brown and light beige, both elegant colors with a sheen.
In order to prevent damage from sunlight and other elements, the Leather series is shipped in a special paper envelope.
The Hobonichi Techo Weeks comes with a clear, adhesive corner pocket you can stick anywhere you like.
The pages are made of thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper that holds ink well, providing a smooth writing experience.
In addition to the monthly calendars and weekly pages, there are also plenty of grid-lined memo pages.
The back of the book contains bonus pages. Both the Japanese and English editions feature standard favorites like My 100 and the 365 Days Check-Off Sheet, as well as new additions like Phrases to Break That Writer’s Block and the Hobonichi’s Neighborhood: Kanda/Jinbo-cho Map, among others.
The Hobonichi Techo leather covers are made with all-natural materials that have their own unique appearance. Every leather cover is a one-of-a-kind, all-natural product, so you can feel good knowing your cover is the only one like it in the world. Here are some of the unique characteristics you can expect to find.

Wrinkles, veins, texture, and scratches
- Characteristics from the manufacturing process of natural leather:
Dark spots (occurs when components of the leather are exposed to iron in the air during the tanning and dyeing process)

- Weekly planner section with two pages for each week from November 30, 2026 through January 2, 2028. The left page lists each day of the week in a Monday–Sunday format, and the right page features graph paper for additional notes.
- Monthly calendar section covering December 2026 through March 2028, with two-page spreads for each month.
- 75 numbered pages of additional graph paper.
- Reference pages including spaces to record addresses, your favorite things, and more.
- Two ribbon page markers.
- Sticker for adding a pocket to one of the inside covers.
Notes:
- This planner is not compatible with the Hobonichi Techo Weeks clear covers.
- The leather may have natural imperfections and variations in texture and color.
- The color of the cover leather may stain other leather or fabric items if left in prolonged contact.
- Dry the cover immediately if it gets wet.
- The corners of the cover may have light traces of press marks from the manufacturing processes.
- Because the paper is so smooth, ink will take longer to dry and may be more prone to smearing on Tomoe River paper than it is on typical notebook or copy paper.
